Tammy obtained her bachelor’s degree as a paralegal in 1992 from Minnesota State University of Moorhead. She later returned to school where she earned an MBA in 2012 from the University of Mary. Tammy is a member of the Western Dakota Association of Legal Assistants (WDALA), as well as the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), and continues to further her legal education by attending seminars and online courses. Tammy began her career as a paralegal in 1992. She started working almost exclusively in family law and debtor bankruptcy law. Later in her career, Tammy worked primarily in civil litigation, which included insurance defense, product liability, and personal injury.
In a perfect world, Tammy would be at the lake, reading or knitting. In our office, she is in constant movement. Tammy gets things done with persistence, organization, and lots of sticky notes. Tammy resides in Bismarck with her husband, teenage son, and her small canine companion, Bear. She enjoys spending time with their five adult children and seven grandchildren.
